Process Engineer & Automation Expert (m/f)

For our site in Kaiserslautern we are looking for an experienced Process Engineer & Automation Expert.

Job description:

  • Control and documentation of current processes and defining KPIs and responsibilities for each process
  • Continuous and dynamic optimization of production processes and systems
  • Definition and elaboration of concepts with regard to automation in production
  • Evaluation of using measurement and control technologies for automation of the manufacturing
    processes (Industry 4.0)
  • Identification, coordination and execution of projects with internal and external partners
  • Best practice sharing within the Group and support for the introduction of new process technologies
    in other locations
  • Development of training materials and employee training
  • Close cooperation and coordination with Central Team from HQ

Your profile:

  • Master Degree in Technical or Scientific studies (university or FH)
  • Several years of professional experience in the industry or carton industry
  • Practical experience in Lean methods and process development
  • Basic statistics know-how and knowledge of appropriate tools
  • Practical experience in quality management and logistical processes
    of production (pull, leveling, etc.) of advantage
  • Strong analytical, innovative and solution-oriented thinking
  • Very good English and MS Office skills, especially MS Excel
  • Communication skills, teamwork and flexibility
  • Responsible, efficient and results-oriented way of working

Based on your qualifications and relevant work experience, we offer an attractive, performance related pay package fulltime (40 hours/week) for this position. Salary is negotiable depending on your individual profile and work experience.
